The Birth of #TheMighty200

 

Politico (See article: https://www.politico.com/story/2019/02/20/2020-candidates-social-media-attack-1176018 …) asserted, “Sustained and ongoing’ disinformation assault targets Dem 2016 presidential candidates” and named 200 conservative tweeters, as the perpetrators! Imagine the surprise of a group of conservative tweeters when they realized that February 2019 article by Politico was talking about them! What made the story even more shocking, is that it called those conservative Twitter accounts “bots” and “Russians”. They stated, “A coordinated barrage of social media attacks suggests the involvement of foreign state actors.”

 

There were just few problems with their report and their “data”. One being, their information was false. 200 of the named accounts were conservatives who they had named as a “coordinated barrage of foreign actors”. It was not foreign actors, nor coordinated! It was conservative Americans sick of the corruption and radicalization of the left, and wanting to elect President Trump to a second term! Go to Twitter and search for #TheMighty200 and see for yourself. You don’t have to take their word for it!

 

They maintain, “It looks like the 2020 presidential primary is going to be the next battleground to divide and confuse Americans,” said Brett Horvath, one of the founders of http://Guardians.ai , a tech company that works with a consortium of data scientists, academics and technologists to disrupt cyber-attacks and protect pro-democracy groups from information warfare. “As it relates to information warfare in the 2020 cycle, we’re not on the verge of it — we’re already in the third inning.” Yes, Politico, you can bet that it will be a battleground! These conservatives believe they are fighting to save America! They want to save their country from the far left controlling the Democratic Party and their spread of disinformation to divide and confuse Americans. They want to prevent the Socialist Democratic Party from taking over their country and turning it into another failed socialism attempt!

 

According to writer Natasha Korecki (@NatashaKorecki) “This is the same core group of accounts the company first identified last year in a study as anchoring a wide-scale influence campaign in the 2018 elections. The 200 accounts shown above are a sample of a network on Twitter talking about Voter Fraud and amplifying false and/or misleading narratives about election integrity and the democratic process. We discovered that this group of 200 accounts either generated or were mentioned in over 140 million tweets over the last year. As you will see below, this network is not only growing at an accelerating rate but also coordinating with effective tactics that appear to bypass many of the detection methods of existing disinformation research.”

 

The facts are clear, this was not disinformation of voter fraud. In a July of 2017, The Heritage Foundation published an article exposing thousands of illegal votes in the 2016 election! In addition, there have been additional reports of voter fraud you can easily find with a quick internet search of the topic. The discussions of voter fraud by conservatives was true and not disinformation, the reports were 100% spot on!

 

If that isn’t enough, Hillary decided to chime into the discussion on Twitter. Her tweet (See Tweet: https://twitter.com/hillaryclinton/status/1098294023738064898?s=21 …), “@Politico reports today: "A wide-ranging disinformation campaign aimed at Democratic 2020 candidates is already underway on social media, with signs that foreign state actors are driving at least some of the activity,” just continues to push the “Russian interference” false narrative! Furthermore, if you remember, back in 2018, #TheMighty200 were routinely tweeting tags of #VoterID #NotRussian #NotABot due to similar false assertions by the left at the time. If you don’t remember that, you can look at their historical data with using the search function and those hashtags! Let’s face the facts! The Russians didn’t elect President Trump! 63,000,000 American Voters did! The left and its’ media propaganda arm like Politico were the ones providing false information to try to slant the election. They are the ones spewing false information. Meanwhile, #TheMighty200 will continue to counter the false news medias’ continued attacks of President Trump, their false spewing false information, and address other topics to slant the election in a leftist direction.
